With spring comes change. And to remain in sync with the seasons, miomia will be saying goodbye to a couple old brands and hello to 5 (yes, five!) beautiful new brands for spring and summer. Just on the shelves:
Dermelect Cosmeceuticals: While it’s created quite a splash across the pond in Britain, Dermelect is new to the States. That said, miomia is thrilled to be New York’s first retailer of this truly unique brand. Dermelect is the first cosmeceutical line jointly formulated by medical professionals and licensed estheticians. The only line to bridge the gap between the physician’s office and spa cosmetic treatments, Dermelect focuses on bringing to market quality therapeutic products containing multi-tasking ingredients designed to improve lifeless looking skin while combating aging and environmental factors. Maximum results in minimum time!
••• Miomia’s pick: Empower MP6 Wrinkle Treatment ($75 for 1 oz). Like Botox only better…and a lot less painful. This multi-peptide miracle effectively levels out pesky lines and diminishes the appearance of even the most stubborn wrinkles.
Malie Kauai: We’re Brooklyn’s first retailer of this gorgeous line. Straight from the lush isle of Kauai, Malie Kauai creates indulgent products with the purest indigenous ingredients. All Malie products are sulfite, paraben, mineral spirit, and petroleum-free. Gorgeously fragranced, beautifully effective and natural, we believe your bathroom will soon be crowded with Malie products in no time.
••• Miomia’s pick: Coffee Macadamia Body Polish ($42 for 12 oz). We can’t dream up a more luscious way to start the day. Made with pure crushed coffee beans and macadamia nuts, this body polish will invigorate both the body (byebye fat cells and cellulite!) and the senses. Smells so good you’ll want to eat it…but please don’t.
Pinecone+Chickadee: A charming collection of lovingly silkscreened cards by transplanted husband-and-wife Brooklynites now residing in Maine. Stop by and check out miomia’s selection of unique greeting cards.
Happy spring. xomiomia
