Pattern Body Washes at miomia
The world’s finest body washes? According to Jim Fogg, the brains behind Pattern Body Washes, that was the goal while developing his line. And the end result? Elegantly-scented, multi-tasking cleansers (for hair, face and body) that are free of most “ick” you find in the competition.
- No parabens
- No SLS/SLES
- No animal testing
- 100% vegan
- No artificial anything
Fogg’s approach to fragrance is also revolutionary. Instead of incorporating single-note scents like most body washes, he created unique blends that “open up” in layers in the shower, like perfume. Pattern Body Washes come in 4 scents:

Robert Crumb Music Cards at miomia
Many moons ago, as an undergraduate in Northampton, Massachusetts, I had the unique opportunity to intern at the oldest comic book publisher in the country, Kitchen Sink Press. As a “production assistant,” I handled all sorts of tasks, including paste-ups (does anyone remember these)?
My love for cartoons and graphics stem from childhood: watching my dad doodle on his prescription pad while calming down a frantic mother, gabbing about “X-Men vs The Avengers” with my brother. So, it’s no coincidence that two movies I adore as an adult involve the world of graphics: “American Splendor” and “Crumb.”
And growing up, I wanted to be a cartoonist.
So how could I not stock R. Crumb’s reissued (and sought-after by collectors) music trading cards? Denis Kitchen (of the now defunct Kitchen Sink Press) has brought these portable pieces of art+music+information back to life. Thank heavens. Check out miomia’s R. Crumb offerings by clicking on the links below.
Besides, aren’t you curious to learn more about the likes of “Blind” Lemon Jefferson and Gid Tanner & The Skillet Lickers?
